Amos Pugh Mine

Location: On the Elk and East Nottingham township line near Little Elk Creek (Pearre and Heyl, plate 41, location uncertain).

Genth (1875) reports that the mine produced about 20 tons of ore. He also reports that the mineral, Muscovite, was found at Amos Pugh’s Mill.
