Mary Darlington, daughter of John and Rachel Ann Jones was buried up the Valley on 4th day the 19th of 12th mo 1849 - aged 6 years, 1 mo, & 2 days - she died with croup - great suffering for 2 days 3 nights

George Miller buried his child with croup the 26 of 12th mo 1849

Abel Lewis an insane man for years was buried at Pikeland the 28 of 12 mo 1849
