PUBLIC SALEWill be exposed to public vendue, on the premises, on Friday, the 16th day of
October next, at one o’clock, p. m. a first rate VALLEY FARM containing 60 acres of Limestone Land, with several quarries thereon; situate in the Great Valley, Tredyffrin township, Chester county, bounded by lands of David Rickabaugh, Thomas Rowland, David Wilson and others; one mile from the Pennsylvania rail road and Lancaster turnpike. The little Valley Creek passes through said property, and with a superior advantage: possessing an excellent water power, with about 16 feet head and fall. There formerly was a tilt mill erected, the walls of which are still standing, and with little expense, could soon be converted into other water works. There is about 5 acres of good woodland, consisting of oak, hickory and chestnut; and about 5 or 6 acres of first rate watered meadow, the rest arable land, in a high state of cultivation, and divided into convenient fields, with chestnut rails; also a young thriving apple orchard of well selected fruit trees, together with a variety of other fruit trees, etc. The buildings are good stone dwelling HOUSE 50 feet by 21, a smoke house, an excellent never failing spring a convenient distance from the house, with a new spring built over the same; a large barn and wagon house, and other out buildings, all built of stone. This property is located in an excellent neighborhood, convenient to various places of worship, schools, mills, stores etc. The above property cannot be too highly recommended. Persons wishing to purchase may view for themselves, and the property will be shown them by the subscribers living thereon. Possession will be given on the first of April next.
